The position of IT Manager is accountable for the provision of IT Systems, Services and Applications to Soletanche Freyssinet businesses located within the Oceania region.  This is a critical support services position that will enable business performance, efficiency and reliability through IT systems and processes.

This is a leadership position responsible for leading and directing team members.  The incumbent will be comfortable with a mix of strategic, project management, process improvement and operational accountabilities.

Primary accountabilities:

This position has the following primary accountabilities:

1.      Development and management of the regional SFIT IT strategy, plan and budget.

2.      The delivery of safe, reliable and effective IT service to all regional SFIT businesses.

3.      To build and mentor the successful establishment of a regional SFIT culture,

4.      Leadership of the local SFIT team, setting priorities and managing performance.

5.      Participation in global SFIT management meetings.

6.      Upgrading existing systems as required.

7.      To ensure SLAs and KPIs are maintained for all key services. 

8.      Understanding the future IT needs of the business, sourcing, deploying and supporting new architecture and applications that is in line with the group strategic vision.

9.      Ownership and continuous improvement of IT processes.

10.  Security of systems, data, protection of IP and ensuring adequate disaster recovery solutions are in place.

11.  Management of licenses and vendors.

12.  Control and management of IT assets.

13.  Proactive business partnering and engagement with the business, acting as the SME on IT related topics.




Profil :

Professional and functional experience/skills:

Degree in Computer Science or similar   

At least 5 years experience in a similar role and with team leadership accountabilities. 

3 to 5 years experience in defining IT strategies including IT budget accountability

Experience of implementing an ITIL Service Management solutions.

Experience of IT Project Management methodologies (PRINICE, Agile, Scrum etc.)

Experience in resource planning management

Track record of improving IT service delivery standards and performance.

Track record with IT project management and stakeholder engagement.

Track record and passion for improving performance culture, leadership capability and career development processes.


Experience of Cloud solutions and Cloud cost management

Understanding of IP networking including firewalls, routers, routing, VPN, DNS, DHCP

Administration & deployment of Windows servers, SCCM, WSUS and Active Directory

Good knowledge of Microsoft desktop OS and application systems

Configuration and management of IP voice and video systems

Experience in ESX and Hyper V technologies

Can demonstrate experience in ownership of Service Review meetings
